OnTop Ltd. would like their guests to know that we are taking the outbreak of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 very seriously. At this moment, we are not canceling any trips and all our hotel and hut partners are accepting guests.
With the spread of the virus reaching in to many countries, most of our guests are traveling from North America. The airport authorities are doing their job in limiting travelers from entering countries who have been in highly affected areas. We are taking our lead from the World Health Organization and the Government of Canada’s Public Health Services:
Our cancellation policy will not be changing. We are obligated to guides and many small businesses who rely on our business to thrive and are financially responsible for reservations. We recommend investigating travel insurance if you haven’t already done so.
Here is our policy:
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Full Payment is due 45 days before the first day of the trip—no refunds 45 days or less before the trip starts.
At the time of booking we recommend our clients purchase trip cancellation insurance for this very reason as this will cover your costs if a trip must be cancelled. This would also cover the costs of expenses not included in our package like air travel and additional accommodation.
Hopefully this is the worst of it and things begin to improve soon. We are all keeping our fingers crossed.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
The OnTop Team
