Trip Details and Small Print - Dolomites / Ortler Range

Can I do it?
A
pleasant mix of wide, low angle trails through green meadows
and more strenuous trekking on sometimes steep and narrow trails
in rocky or glaciated terrain. Expect to be on your feet up
to 7 hours on most days (except for travel days).
Part 1 of the trip (Ortler range) involves lower angle glacier
travel for two days. You will be introduced to using crampons
and ice axe and you'll be tied into a rope when travelling on
a glacier.
Part 2 in the Western Dolomites (Val Gardena) is mainly a trek
on trails, however we will also introduce you to some easy to
moderate Via Ferrata (steep and sometimes exposed trails with
cable protection and ladders)
This
trip is ideal for sportive hikers who want to get beyong the
double track hiking trails and explore more rocky terrain and
glaciers. The itinerary offers a lot of flexibility for adjustments
to different challenge levels, according to the priorities of
the group en route
